Cooling mats are they all completely safe for our dogs...?
In the light of the very hot weather conditions at the shows recently we are asked alot for dog cooling coats, not a product I am totally convinced about if I'm honest, bit controversial I know, but I think everyone should be able to make up their own minds about products we give to our dogs.. Anyway I thought perhaps a cooling mat might be the next best thing for Ruby as she naturally seems to try to cool herself by getting as much of her tummy on the cool tile floor in our kitchen. Having done a bit of research online there's lots of them to choose from all are stated as non-toxic and safe for dogs. My dogs don't tend to chew things but I'm not 100% sure I would want Ruby to be left alone with this product, Please note I'm not trying to scaremonger and this is the only 'make' I've found with this information, I'm not suggesting all cooling mats are the same or made from this material. Once again it's personal choice but what do you all think ??
