Business is Booming at Lydiard Park Agility Show
Agility World attended the very popular UK Agility show at Lydiard in Swindon on 5th/6th April. The show was well attended, with some competitors travelling long distances to take part. Everyone agreed it was a great show, a lovely venue and very well organised.
This was our first trade show of the season and we enjoyed a steady flow of customers throughout both days. Despite an overcast sky for both days, the rain just about held off, which allowed everyone a good chance to browse the stands and stock up on everything they needed for their dogs, plus a few necessities for themselves, too.
Agility World sponsored a couple of events at the show, which brought us some fantastic exposure.
The show was also a great opportunity for us to launch our partnership with Salomon, whose Speedcross 3 Trail Shoes we are now stocking in all colours and sizes, including half sizes for both men and women. Business was certainly booming here, with virtually all the Salomon stock being sold within a few hours!
Custom continued to be brisk for Hurtta, Back on Track and Sealskinz products, with several pre-orders being taken for stock and the promise of continued increases in both business and recognition of Agility World as a leading supplier of quality dog products and accessories.
Congratulations must go to our resident Agility competitor, Apryl Parfitt and her dog Breeze, who came second in the Midi CSJ Grand Prix. This qualifies them for the CSJ finals in December, which they are very much looking forward to training for and competing in.
Many thanks to Amy Lawson for organising such a great event. As one happy competitor said, “I couldn’t fault anything about the show over the two days; perfect show for me. Everything was so clear and well organised. HUGE congratulations to ALL involved!”
